Film & Video Production, Editing & Archiving

MITES offers a full range of filming, production, editing and archiving services. We also offer post-production facilities that can be hired out or incorporated into a bundled package. We are pleased to be able to offer an excellent quality of service and have recently worked on high-profile projects with Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark and The Whitworth Gallery in Manchester.

We welcome submissions and proposals for co-commissioning, production and equipment assistance, as well as critical support for cross-platform distribution. We are particularly interested in collaborating on producing new short films, features, documentaries and works of historical value.

Our video production, editing and archiving services are as follows:

• Production & Editing Services – MITES offers beginning-to-end production and post-production services. We can provide film crews and full production teams for film-making, TV work and filming events.
• Archiving – MITES provides an industry-leading archiving service for the preservation of current and previous generations of video and moving image formats.
• Facilities – MITES offers state-of-the art film and video editing and production facilities in its Liverpool base at FACT (Foundation for Art and Creative Technology). Our MediaLab computer suite is available for post-production and editing with industry standard software on each machine. We also one of the North West’s NorthernNet Media Access Bureaus – with a 100mb / second link for fast file transfer to the rest of the UK.
